Holiday sewing wrap-up

Well, the holidays are over now. In between making some more Hawaiian Girls cushions and more geometric turquoise cushions, I hemmed some giant (door-sized) linen scrolls that Mr A had printed some giant woodcuts onto, completed one of my life goals (to read every Elmore Leonard novel there is – yes, all 45 of them) and finally made the Rob Ryan skirt I got from Clothkits. It was meant to be a simple A-line skirt, but I didn’t want to waste any of the print so I made it up in the biggest size and put six darts in the back, two pleats in the front and used some of the scraps to make a waistband. Clothkits is having a sale at the moment if you need one too!
