A cocktail of watermelons

Last weekend I made some more cushions from this reproduction atomic fabric that looks kind of like a cocktail of watermelons. Making the spotty piping from scratch is a lot of bother, but it really brings out the vibrant colours and gives them a sense of fun, don’t you think? The green duck cloth they’re sitting on is actually a good match with the lighter green on the cushions – so there’s also the option of matching green cushions with spotty piping too. These cushions will be off to Absolutely Fabulous later this week.
