Life doesn’t have to be complicated

Last weekend I had literally 10 minutes to make a new phone case for Mr A before he dashed to the airport to catch a plane – so I folded over a piece of navy felt left over from last year’s Scandi cushion exhibition (yes, I still have a truckload of scraps!), reinforced the top so it doesn’t stretch and stitched down the sides in red thread. It was one of those occasions where there’s no time for embellishments and fancy designs, and you just have to be practical. If I’d had more time I think I would have embroidered an anchor on it…
