Mark Hearld’s beautiful birds

Still on the theme of other people’s creative spaces, I’ve been reading the latest Selvedge magazine, which has an extended piece on British linocut artist Mark Hearld. His house has a wonderful sense of cozy clutter and looks like a treasure trove of his beautiful art. It reminded me a bit of my friend Stephen Mok‘s house.

Mark Hearld’s latest prints are on the St Jude’s Gallery website and they’ve also started printing his art on fabric as part of the St Jude’s Fabrics series. My favourite is ‘Bird Garden’ – in every colourway!
