A very happy birthday

I’d much rather have a proper conversation than flit about at a party, so each year I stretch my birthday into a series of catch-ups with friends, known in my parlance as the Birthday Festival. The festival has been running for about a week now, but it really hit full swing when Mr A brought out this fabulous Lea Stein fox brooch! If you’re not familiar with this French jewellery designer’s amazing back catalogue of brooches, do yourself a favour and have a look at the Harlequin Market website. I feel very lucky indeed!

Thanks Sasha. It took me about 10 years of dropping Lea Stein-related hints, so it’s definitely worth persisting!
