A charming little book

Even though I’m not in the market for more projects right now, my eyes still lit up when I saw this book in a publisher’s discount store in Brisbane – for $5! It’s one of those special hardcover crafty books with the spiral binding and all the patterns in a pocket at the back. What I like best about it (other than its bargain price) is each project has instructions to cater for three options: making it from an existing print fabric, making your own print fabric specifically for the particular project, and embellishing it with embroidery. I think my favourite project is a ‘stash-and-treasure hanging’ that I’d turn into a curtain with lots of different sized pockets. Think of the possibilities!

Thanks Susan. I found it in a shop at the bottom of QueensPlaza in between the shoe shop and Coles – hopefully there’s one left for you!
