Saturday Special: Simplicity 6926

It’s back to hot weather in Brisbane this week, so today’s pattern pick is a summer dress. Back in 1975 it was touted as ‘teen wear’ and it would look lovely on this daisy print from my stash, but I’m thinking it could be made into a grown-up dress if the fabric was a plain linen. If you had nothing else to do (!) some hand embroidery on the frilly bit would make it very special. I don’t think I could resist putting some cute feature buttons on the straps though!
