A musical interlude

I knew this vintage fabric would come up a treat as cushions when I first laid eyes on it – it is so rare to find mint condition atomic-era barkcloth that’s held its colour so well and I do love the keyboard-type shape that dominates the design. This pair has gone straight to Absolutely Fabulous (after a short visit to my friend Louise’s house, as pictured below) so if you love them get in quick! Now, back to the stamp cushions – today I’m working on a second Bulgarian owl, in preparation for a special promotion I’ll be doing in March.
