A very different life

Partly because it’s so hot in Brisbane today (33 degrees Celsius and very humid – yick!) and partly due to my lifelong fascination with all things Scandinavian, I’ve been enjoying the amazing work of magazine photographer Erika Larsen. She lived with the Sami reindeer herders of Norway and Sweden for one photo series, and portrays their lives with extraordinary colour and beauty – see all the photos here. Don’t miss the one of the reindeer painted on a big lichen-covered rock!

For more amazing photos, visit the Erika Larsen website.
