The silver lining

The last vestiges of summer in Brisbane have been cloudy and wet (hence no new cushion pics, even though I was quite productive on the weekend), but the silver lining is it’s perfect weather to listen to the new album by my friend Heinz (who inspired my Austrian deer stamp cushion). Survey #2 is mostly instrumental and atmospheric, with sparse piano, mesmerising loops, sweeping strings and moody guitar interludes (eek – I feel like a music reviewer all over again!). I imagine it would have been the perfect soundtrack for a recent project where Heinz collaborated with some architects to build an outdoor cinema for a short film festival called -20º Cinema – more pics and the full story here. Magical on all counts!
