A bit of sparkle and bling

After a horrible week battling the flu and a nasty migraine, I’m back up and about today – hooray! Time to start showing off last weekend’s handiwork too… I had to wait for the sun to come out so I could take photos of this new cushion design, which is based on a vintage Hungarian stamp. It was a bit of an experiment, with sparkly silver rick rack instead of the usual white (and the folk bird is actually a gloriously bright teal that is impossible to photograph accurately) but I think it worked well in the end. It’s certainly very bright when you see it in person!

Another horrible week here- and as a result I don’t have very much crafting to show off, unlike you with yet another beautiful cushion. I bet the sparkly ric rac is lovely. Well done! Another one to add to my enormous make believe collection of stamp cushions!

Thanks for your lovely compliment! I’m sure you’ll have some treasures to show off soon Sasha… We’ll have to cut an extra special deal on a badger cushion when you’re ready to add to your collection!
