Saturday Special: Simplicity 4530

Today’s pattern pick from my collection is a 1953 blouse with both the sleeves and collar cut in one with the front – so theoretically it should be very simple to make. Since I’ve had a big clear-out of fabric and have (shock! horror!) an empty shelf in my sewing room, I bought this lovely Denyse Schmidt fabric last weekend (40% off, may I add) and have earmarked it for the short-sleeved version of this blouse.
