The medicinal powers of Elmore Leonard

Feeling a thousand times better today and while it must in part be thanks to the antibiotics, I think Elmore Leonard can take a little credit. To make myself sit still and actually recuperate, I watched the entire second season of Justified, a TV series based on some books by one of my favourite authors, American crime writer Elmore Leonard. I don’t think I’ve ever watched so much TV in such a short space of time and I don’t think I’ll make a habit of it, but I think it did the trick! The series stars Timothy Oliphant as an old school deputy US marshal (i.e. part lawman, part cowboy) and the characters are very true to the books.

And just for good measure, this pic shows Elmore Leonard with the main good guy, Raylan Givens (Timothy Oliphant) and the main bad guy, Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins). Totally recommend this series!

Glad you are on the mend. How are you fairing in the public sector?

Thanks for checking in Maree! Things are OK work-wise at the moment but you never know what is around the corner…

Glad to hear you’re feeling better. I reckon we need to book in a catch-up! 🙂

What a good idea! I haven’t been so sick for years so it was a bit of a shock to the system…
