Vintage fabric find: double-sided barkcloth

Here’s an interesting one… vintage barkcloth with the same print on the front and back. If it wasn’t for the weave along the selvedge, it would be virtually impossible to tell the right side of the fabric. I’m thinking perhaps it was originally intended for curtains, but I’ll be transforming it into two pairs of cushions – backed in bright red, of course!
