Cut-up keepsakes

On the hunt for inspiration, I recently came across this project book by Scottish designer and illustrator Emily Hogarth. It’s called ‘Cut Up This Book!’ – although I don’t think I could ever bring myself to do that! In our household, cutting paper and card is usually the preserve of Mr A (he’s been working on another artist book lately) but I thought I might try making a couple of birthday cards sometime.

My favourite project from the book is this accordion-fold card. It instantly reminded me of my crafty friend Zena – I think she’d make a great one of these!
