A little bit fancy

I needed to create something a bit fancy but very practical for a friend’s 40th birthday, so I dug out my copy of Amy Butler’s Frenchy Bags pattern and fossicked around my fabric shelves… I found some black stretch drill with a lovely sheen, some scraps of Michael Miller‘s Mirror Ball Dot fabric and some bright red shantung for the lining. Happy birthday Penny!
