The Shacket #5

Fellow crafters will know it’s easy to get caught up in the Next Big Project – and sometimes that means other plans go by the wayside. Before the GOMA Christmas markets last year, that’s what happened to Mr A’s Shacket.

A friendly reminder from the lovely Sasha of Cold Comfort Crafts has (along with a combination of guilt and actually wanting to see it through) led to a revival of the Shacket project this week.

It took us a long time to find the right shade of olive fabric and I suspect the Colette Negroni shirt pattern will be a bit broad for Mr A, so while I don’t normally do a practice run I will this time around with some navy shirting. Besides, he’s waited so long now that he deserves a new shirt as well, don’t you think?

Brilliant! Well done for starting it up again- I have a similar project languishing in a bag somewhere and just need to get back into it.
