Getting into the groove

I took a break from making cushions (for just a day) to make a bag for my friend and rather wonderful artist Carmela who’s due to have her first baby in about a month. She’s into clean 60s-style Scandinavian design and music, so that’s why I picked this ‘Groovy Guitars’ fabric by Alexander Henry. It’s lined in matching chocolate brown quilting cotton and is from my old favourite Amy Butler’s nappy bag pattern.
