Winning the lottery

Bet that headline caught your eye! No, I’m not about to skip town for the Bahamas (or any of those faraway places I’d probably rather go to) – I’m just giving Mr A‘s latest woodcut show a plug! He’s made a series of woodcuts based on Mexican bingo (loteria) cards, including this lovely hand-coloured cactus one.
They’ll be on display at Jamie’s Espresso Bar on Robertson Street in Fortitude Valley from today for a month, so pop down for a look and make sure you grab a hot, tasty brew while you’re there.
