Saturday Special: Vogue 8857

As the previous owner noted on the pattern envelope, this 1956 design has a “good, simple bodice” and “good three-quarter sleeve”. I can see this one in a lovely summer floral print… or maybe a plain cornflower blue cotton with floral binding around the neckline and armholes.
