Find what you love

So often it feels like life is rushing by and there’s not enough time to pause and reflect amongst all the busyness – let alone spend time doing the things we love. I’m taking a few weeks off my “real” job to do just that and in the process get a head start on the silly season.

This week is going to be all about stockpiling vintage fabric cushions. Here’s the first instalment… I only had enough fabric to make four more of these lovely autumn atomic barkcloth cushions.

When I dropped off some cushions to a customer a couple of months ago, she had the first pair of these cushions sitting on some 1960s chairs that been reupholstered in bright yellow gingham and they looked fantastic!
