Saturday Special: Vogue 7229

A friend recently gave me some bright burnt orange linen when she was cleaning out her Mum’s sewing stash and as luck would have it, it’s exactly the right length to make this 1960s tent dress. I think I’d like to add some top-stitching with embroidery thread around those big feature pockets, but should I do that in a matching burnt orange so that it’s understated or go for contrast? What do you think?
