Saturday Special: McCall’s 8985

I learnt something new today while I was researching this 1952 frock: those feature pieces over the bodice of View B are called bretelles, a French term for braces or suspenders. While they have their place (although maybe not with the braid trim), I prefer View A with the Peter Pan collar. Very pretty!
