Surprise!

Surprise! It’s not all about cushions over here after all! This week I had a bag emergency – my old one was well beyond the end of its useful life – and I had to drop everything and make a new one to tide me over until Christmas holiday time, when hopefully I’ll find a moment to make something a bit fancier.

It’s amazing what you can cobble together with scraps! Duck egg blue canvas, bright red quilting cotton and inside there’s some stripey red-and-white cotton pockets too.
