Saturday Special: Vogue Couturier 2804

Another Jean Muir gem from my local op shop – this one’s from 1973. Probably a bit flouncy for me, but if I made this one I’d modify it to be sleeveless, with a smaller armhole to match.

Misses’ dress: Loose-fitting dress, mid-knee or ankle length, has front and back bodice and skirt insets gathered into square neckline bands and slightly raised inset waistband, shirt tail hem and pockets in side seams. Back closing with slit, buttons, loops and zipper. Full, full length dolman sleeves with extended armhole seams are gathered into buttoned band cuffs. Contrast front insets for view B. Topstitch trim.
