A tropical turn

Things have taken a turn for the tropical around here and I’ve made the last of this lovely reproduction barkcloth into cushions. Red and black look sooooo good together, don’t they?! These ones are designed for an 18″/45cm insert.

And these ones are a tad smaller, for a 16″/40cm insert. You’ll find both pairs over in my Etsy shop.

One for the campers

A quick straw poll in my office last week revealed at least half a dozen families had camping plans for the Easter weekend and most were headed for the coast – I hope they all had fun and kept safe during the big storm that came through on Sunday.

These beach-themed cushions with their woodies and hints of a road trip to somewhere more glamorous are about as close as you’re going to get me to camping! You’ll find these beautiful ladies over in my Etsy shop.

A long lost package

As if U2 Week couldn’t get any better, I arrived home on the day of the first concert to find a package in the mail that I thought had long since been lost. Lucky for me, this gorgeous fabric finally arrivedĀ  – it was posted from Canada way back in September! – so now I have the black colourway of the Aloha Girls as well as the turquoise. I’m sure these beauties will be adorning some cushions very soon…
